July 09, 2008. JSC „NORVIK BANKA” (hereinafter referred to as NORVIK BANKA) has concluded the contract for receiving a syndicated loan. Total amount of the
syndicated loan comprises EUR 25 million (Initial amount EUR 15 000 000, over
subscripted for EUR 10 000 000). The funds are allocated to the bank for 364
days, from the day the agreement is signed, the loan interest rate comprises
1,3%.
The mandated lead arrangers of the syndicated loan are BayernLB, HSH Nordbank
and Standard Bank Plc. Agent of the loan is Standard Bank Plc.
Besides the institutions mentioned above, seven credit institutions more
participated in the transaction: BOS Bank, FBN Bank (UK), Sparebanken Ost,
Banque BIA, Hipoteku Banka, Israel Discount Bank of New York, SaarLB.
This is the fifth syndicated loan agreement concluded by NORVIK BANKA during
the period of a last two years. The loan will be used for further strengthening
of the Bank's positions in Latvia as well as in the international financial
markets.
NORVIK BANKA provides different financial services to individuals and legal
entities. The bank has one of the widest client service centre network in
Latvia. By the amount of assets, in the first quarter of year 2008 NOVIK BANKA
is ranked number 10 among Latvian commercial banks. |
