| • Additional information: | On Sept 23rd Alfa Bank, sold USD175 million worth of notes maturing in 2006 with a semiannual coupon of 8%. The transaction priced after a 2-day bookbuilding period at 99.48% to yield 8.375% or 599 basis points above comparable benchmark U.S. Treasuries. Alfa Bank’s new issue also saw strong oversubscription and priced inside initial price guidance of 8.50%. At the same time, the bank borrowed USD25 mln more than it initially planed.
The eurobonds were issued under the bank’s ETMN programme worth USD400 mln. The
issuer is Alfa Bank MTN issuance Ltd. ABH Financial Limited; Alfa Bank itself will act as
the issue guarantors.
On Oct 6th the issuer upsized the issue by USD15 mln up to USD190 mln. The bond was sold at par.
The whole programme worth – USD400 mln.
