Eurokommerz becomes the first Russian member of the Commercial Finance Association |

Eurokommerz, leader of the Russian commercial finance market, announces its entry into the Commercial Finance Association (CFA). Eurokommerz has become the first Russian company to join the CFA.
The basic aims of the CFA are the consolidation of opportunities for further development of the global industry of commercial finance, the dispatch of important information about market changes to its participants, and also the improvement of its legislative and operational mechanisms.
Andrej Suscavcevic, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CFA, said: “CFA members are a professional community of companies possessing rich experience and expertise in commercial finance industry. Each company that enters CFA brings its own unique input to providing excellent stewardship, information, and extensive experience. We are glad to welcome the first Russian company in the name of Eurokommerz among our colleagues all over the world”.
Gregory Karpovsky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eurokommerz, said: “We are pleased to join the CFA. Today Russian market is becoming a significant part of the global infrastructure of commercial finance, and is ready for further quality development in the field of introducing new services of non-banking finance. We are confident that our co-operation with the Association will bring about a rapid development of commercial finance in Russia and strengthen the position of Russian companies in the emerging markets of other countries.
Founded in 1944, the CFA, with its headquarters in New York and 15 affiliations worldwide, is one of three largest commercial finance associations and unites about 300 companies. Membership of the association is presented to trading companies, ABL lenders, banks, independent finance companies, as well as financial subsidiaries of large scale industrial corporations. More than 76% of the participants of the Association are non-banking financial institutes, whilst 24% of the CFA are banking organizations.
